In Summer of 2022, I discovered a Yi Jun Dancing Hero Iron Man Musical Light-up Robot at a thrift shop. With no substantial information online about it, I recognized its potential and undertook a meticulous repair process, documenting the restoration in a comprehensive video. Subsequently, I captured the restored robot through a series of professionally photographed images set against diverse, vibrant backgrounds.

This endeavor extended beyond mere restoration; I constructed additional creative content, seamlessly integrating the robot into dynamic scenes inspired by both the backgrounds and the robot's illuminating features. My objective was to breathe new life into the character, fostering an appreciation for the artistry and functionality of such items.

Through this project, I aim to inspire others to approach repairs with creativity and enthusiasm, encouraging a fresh perspective on preserving and caring for possessions. Ideally, the revitalized item may find a new home, where it can be appreciated by someone who values its unique qualities.

 
 
 
 
 

Hero Teardown & Repair


In addition to the teardown and repair process, I recorded a comprehensive teardown and repair video to share with the online community of robot enthusiasts. This video not only serves as a valuable resource for fellow robot owners but also fosters a sense of community engagement and knowledge-sharing within the online sphere. By documenting the intricate details of the repair procedure, I aimed to provide a step-by-step guide that empowers others to undertake similar restoration projects for their hero robots. Branding Hero through Scenes


Delving into the creative process, I expanded the artistic horizons of this hero robot's tale by integrating special effects scenes into the imagery. This involved envisioning and crafting visuals that go beyond traditional photo artwork, portraying the robot's arrival at various scenes where it swoops in to save the day through the enchanting mediums of dance and music. Each visual narrative was carefully designed to capture the essence of the hero robot's cosmic journey, with vibrant FX scenes complementing the dynamic fusion of music, dance, and dazzling light displays. These additions not only heightened the visual impact but also contributed to the immersive storytelling experience, allowing the audience to envision the robot's magical interventions in a vivid and enchanting manner.

Like air through water

Here are images showcasing air bubbles intricately formed within frozen water, a project I undertook as a personal case study and hobby. During winter, I dedicated time to capturing the freezing process of water drippings sourced from various objects and outdoor areas. My intent was to document and analyze the nuances of how air moves through water during cold nights.

In this casual yet focused exploration, I sought to identify potential connections between factors such as freezing speed on different nights and variations in water depth resulting from either evaporation or rain. Through this leisurely investigation, I aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the interplay between environmental conditions and the distinct freeze patterns exhibited in these water formations.
